The win was impressive and Colt’s football can build on the win.
Former head coach Frank Reich was fired on November 7 a day after the Patriots beat the Colts 26-3. General manager Chris Ballard and Colt’s owner Jim Irsay had to make a move. Unconventionally they hired Jeff Saturday. Saturday is a former offensive lineman who played for the Colts from 199-2011. Various sports networks, fans, and sports analysts believed the Colts made the wrong choice. According to Yard Barker, former Steelers coach Bill Cowher said ‘’For an owner to hire a coach who has never been an assistant at the college or pro level and overseeing a lot of qualified candidates to build a resume, it’s a disgrace to the coaching profession. In regards to how this played out, what happened in Indianapolis is a travesty.’’
