Last weekend, Colorado football sputtered to a 28-10 loss on the road against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The final score is deceiving, with Nebraska controlling the line of scrimmage for four quarters, outrushing their opponents by 133 yards. While Cornhuskers signal-caller Dylan Raiola remained upright, Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback Shedeur Sanders became a sack victim six times. The Buffaloes had no answer on either side of the ball, scoring ten late second-half points before boarding the buses as double-digit losers.
Since hiring head coach Deion Sanders in 2023, Colorado has become one of the most talked about programs in the country. Sanders, an NFL Hall of Famer, is also the father of safety Shilo Sanders and passer Shedeur Sanders. The trio continues to cultivate headlines for their unique off-the-field personalities. Shilo Sanders is now in college football fans’ crosshairs after mocking Nebraska before last Saturday’s blowout loss.

The son of head coach Deion Sanders, Colorado football star defender Shilo Sanders tried his best to intimidate the Nebraska Cornhuskers captains during last weekend’s coin toss at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. However, Sanders’ outing was short-lived, playing just six snaps before leaving the contest with a broken arm. Sanders finished the contest with two tackles, while Nebraska drove 51 yards for a touchdown in his lone defensive drive.
Sanders has long earned a reputation for oozing confidence and talking down to his opponents. Last season, the safety chirped the Oregon Ducks sideline before a 42-6 loss. No love was lost between Sanders and college football fans’ after his remarks to Nebraska players went viral on Thursday. Many college football fans put the 24-year-old on blast for karma getting the best of him last Saturday:
