Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders had nothing but praise for his two sons during their special event (pro day) on Friday.
The event drew an attraction because of Shedeur Sanders, who is expected to be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the 2025 draft. Teams also wanted to meet with two-way athlete and 2025 Heisman Trophy-winner Travis Hunter, who did participate some in the event.
Safety Shilo Sanders participated in the event.
Shilo expected to be a Day 3 draft pick at the highest, although the 25-year-old could become an undrafted rookie free agent. He wasn’t invited to the scouting combine in February and would likely be a UDFA if he wasn’t related to Deion.

Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders defends Shilo

Per Jake Schwanitz of DNVR Buffs, Deion defended the bankruptcy controversy surrounding Shilo before April’s draft, saying that he’s a “dawg” on the field.
“Shilo is a old school player coming up under these new school guidelines,” Deion said. “He’s a dawg. I’m so darn proud of him, he does not take a back seat to anybody. I love who he is on and off the field. I know some other bull junk came out but he’s filled all his financial obligations.”
