The Colorado Buffaloes finished the 2024 college football season with a 9-4 record. They are going to look a lot different in 2025 when Shedeur Sanders is not the quarterback and when Travis Hunter is not on the field for them either.
Both players are projected to be Top 5 picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Colorado Buffaloes could be an interesting team in 2025 with Deion Sanders still as the head coach. Colorado hopes to make noise again in the BIG12 Conference even with the stars gone from the program.
Colorado Buffaloes Announce Schedule For the 2025 Season
The Buffaloes on Tuesday announced the schedule for the 2025 season. They will open the season on August 30 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. They will begin BIG12 conference play against the Houston Cougars on September 13.
The Colorado Buffaloes in the final week of the season will face the Kansas State Wildcats. Another key game for them will be on November 8 against the West Virginia Mountaineers. Only one team from the conference made it to the playoffs last season and that was the Arizona State Sun Devils. They will face each other on November 22.

8/30 vs GT will be a big game for both programs and GT views themselves as a “Giant Killer” seeing how they did a few seasons last year.
10/11 vs ISU will be when i expect new group to really be fully settled and gelled, and thus giving an understanding of how last 5 will go

It is a surprise that the Colorado Buffaloes will not be facing the Nebraska Cornhuskers or the Colorado State Rams during the 2025 college football season. Colorado lost to Nebraska last year and there was some bad blood last year between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State Rams.
It will be interesting to see how Colorado does this upcoming college football season. They will have the spotlight in the Big 12 Conference because of Deion Sanders also.
