The Colorado Buffaloes and the fanbase have received plenty of attacks on social media ahead of their next game.

The UCF Knights will be hosting the Colorado Buffaloes team for the second Big 12 Conference game of the season. Colorado currently has just a 17.9% chance to win the second conference game against the Knights, with the point margin sitting at 15.
While the Knights appear primed to do damage to the Colorado defense on the field, the UCF fanbase seems intent on doing the same to Buffaloes fans. UCF fans have been quick to throw shade towards the Buffaloes and earn a ‘trending’ tag on social media for the game.

Earlier this morning, On3 Sports predicted via the Massey Rating system that Colorado would lose the remainder of their games this season. The Buffaloes are projected to finish the season with a 3-9 record, without pulling any closer than a touchdown in all defeats.

Following the release of the model, UCF fans, Colorado football ‘haters’, and analysts alike questioned if the Buffaloes can win another game this season. Many fans pointed out the Kansas Jayhawks game in particular as the Jayhawks lost to the UNLV Rebels, and have dropped out of the rankings. Currently, the Jayhawks are 1-3 this season with losses to Illinois, UNLV, and West Virginia.
On3 watches: Kansas lose to UNLV wvu and Illinois, UofA look terrible, Cinci lose to Pitt, TTU get blasted by Wazzu, and Alan bowman for OSU and really thinks the Buffs won’t beat at least 3 of those teams?

Colorado Buffaloes Fans Defend Team Amid Prediction Crisis

While the Colorado Buffaloes might be facing an online attack, that has not shifted the focus away from the football field.
The Buffaloes still have a lot to prove after delivering quite the exciting Big 12 Conference opener with a win over Baylor. Colorado cannot rely on breakaways or Hail Mary plays to win games, and will have to sure up the offensive line in particular moving forward.
The Colorado Buffaloes staff needed a win to open up conference play to truly show how strong the team can be. The Buffaloes will need more of the same against the UCF Knights, who are a rather strong team themselves this season.
Colorado are massive, 15-point underdogs currently against the Knights, which further adds to the value of a win for the Buffaloes.
