Colorado Buffaloes: Colorado Sent Notice To The PAC-12 Last Season That Oregon Was Cheating Having Unauthorized Practice Video

The 2023 college football season had many interesting twists and turns, and the biggest one was Michigan illegally stealing opposing team signs, which resulted in the Big Ten suspending head coach Jim Harbaugh for the last three regular-season games.

There are a lot of weird things that go on in the college game, and everyone thinks that everybody is cheating. Colorado thought Oregon had an advantage when the two played last season.

Last season, in Deion Sanders’s first year as Colorado’s head coach, the Buffaloes started hot, winning their first three games against TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State.

The Buffaloes were rolling, but their only issue was that they were about to head to Eugene to take on the Oregon Ducks.

Oregon would go on to win the game 42-6, ending the Buffaloes’ winning streak, and Colorado would go on to win one more game the rest of the season.

The Buffaloes had to be so embarrassed about the loss that they notified the PAC-12 that Oregon had unauthorized access to practice video and data.

In an article from Thomas Goldkamp on On3.com, the Buffaloes reportedly flagged some potential breaches of the team’s online service that stores practice footage and other data, according to a report from Front Office Sports.”

Goldkamp stated that the Pac-12 followed up and contacted the Buffaloes athletic department, and Colorado chose not to move forward.

This is a strange story. Colorado had to be so mad that they were embarrassed by Oregon on national TV that they most likely made something up, saying Oregon had their practice footage.

It’s interesting that the Pac-12 looked into this, and Colorado decided not to proceed with the case.

Colorado had to be upset at the time and react to something out of anger and frustration, but lucky for them, they don’t have to play Oregon anymore since they both aren’t in the PAC-12. Maybe Colorado will pull this off against another team in the Big 12 this season.
