After the conclusion of one of the most entertaining weeks yet, we have a new Gridiron College Football Top 25. Upsets, After a week of chaos highlighted by Top 10 battles and possibly the end of a dynasty, we have a new outlook on playoff contenders. The SEC was the primary member of a shakeup. A possible playoff with three SEC teams is likely gone after a chaotic game between multiple top dogs.
LSU vs. Alabama created the most chaos. The Tigers came in at #10 in the first CFP Top 25 & #16 in the Gridiron College Football Rankings. Yet, they looked like a different team than all season and took down Saban’s Crimson Tide in overtime. The “Game of the Century” took place in Athens. Georgia dominated the Vols and solidified themselves as the team to beat. Amongst the Top 10 fun, Notre Dame exposed Clemson, and Texas took down Kansas State.
