We are deep into the season, and the landscape of the College Football Rankings is becoming clearer. The best are starting to separate themselves, and a chaotic ending is on the way, with several teams tied throughout their respective conferences. The Big 12 & Pac 12 saw the most significant movement after a few key matchups took place. Making this week’s College Football Rankings appear quite different than last week’s.

The Big 12 featured two of the biggest matchups for its conference championship future. Oklahoma State took on Texas, and TCU took on Kansas State. Both games were electrifying. TCU had their second straight 17+ point comeback (28-10) against K-State and sealed a huge home win. Oklahoma State, who was victim to TCU last week, made a 14-point comeback against Texas. The Cowboys and Horned Frogs now sit as the clear front-runners of the conference as a result and are in a good position in this week’s rankings. The Pac-12, on the other hand, saw Oregon taking down UCLA, which left its conference wide open.
