College football has been very crazy this season. One of the best parts of college football season is trying to figure out who will win the Heisman Trophy on a week-to-week basis.

This is the first time in a long time that a running back could very well win the award. It has not been done since the 2015 season when Derrick Henry of the Alabama Crimson Tide won the award.
The Heisman Trophy Finalists Were Announced On Monday After the College Football Season

On Monday, it was announced the four finalists for the 2024 Heisman Trophy. The candidates are Travis Hunter, Ashton Jeanty, Dillon Gabriel, and Cam Ward. It is going to be very interesting to see who will win the award. A lot of people think that Hunter should win the award because he plays both cornerback and wide receiver.
However, Jeanty rushed for over 2,000 yards this season in college football and it is something that has not been accomplished in a long time. Ashton Jeanty led the Boise State Broncos to the college football playoffs and so did Dillon Gabriel of the Oregon Ducks.
Hunter did not lead the Colorado Buffaloes to the college football playoffs and Cam Ward did not get Miami to the postseason. The voting could be very close for this award this season.

Only one doesn’t have a mascot emoji. Why no 🐎 Bronco for Jeanty? Has he already been determined to be second place (I know it’s his jersey number)? Is he singled out as the winner?
Tune in Saturday for answers.— Richard Clemens, CFA (@Hawk100Clemens) December 10, 2024
I think this is the correct list. Jeanty better take this thing home man!

There will be a lot of fans upset if Jeanty does not win the award. A quarterback will most likely not win the award this season. If Ashton Jeanty does not win it, it will most likely be Travis Hunter. It would feel like a surprise if Cam Ward or Dillon Gabriel won the Heisman Trophy this season also.
