Ray Lewis played in the NFL for many years and he was one of the best linebackers of all time for the Baltimore Ravens. He is a huge supporter of the Ravens organization still despite being retired for over a decade and being in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
There is something that Lewis could do next in his football journey that might stun a ton of people. There is a chance that he could be the next head coach of the Florida Atlantic Owls.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter Reports That Ray Lewis Could Become the Next Head Coach Of the Florida Atlantic Owls
Adam Schefter on Twitter wrote about Ray Lewis on Wednesday morning:
“Following the Deion Sanders-to-Colorado model, Hall-of-Fame linebacker Ray Lewis has emerged as a candidate to become the next head coach at Florida Atlantic University, sources tell ESPN.”
It would be interesting to see if Lewis would be the next head coach of the Owls. This would be the latest NFL player to be a head coach at the college football level. Ray Lewis being a college head coach would be an interesting draw to college football fans everywhere.

Interestingly, the jokes write themselves with the fan reactions about Ray Lewis maybe being the next head coach for the Owls. Someone mentioned that Lewis should hire Ed Reed as his defensive coordinator. Reed was a Hall of Fame Safety for the Ravens as well. They won Super Bowls during the 2000 and 2012 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
