Former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Jackson Arnold is in the transfer portal and he is looking for a new college football team for his junior season. For the last two seasons, he has played with Oklahoma but it hasn’t worked out well for him.

Arnold has the talent to be a very good quarterback. This past season with Oklahoma, he completed 62.6 percent of his passes for 1,421 yards, 12 touchdowns, and three interceptions. Jackson Arnold has also rushed for 444 yards on 150 carries and three touchdowns, along with averaging 3.0 yards per carry. One team that is interested in landing him is the Mississippi State Bulldogs from the SEC Conference.
On3 Pete Nakos Predicts That Jackson Arnold Will Land With the Mississippi State Bulldogs

On Monday, Pete Nakos from on3 predicted that Arnold would land with the Mississippi State Bulldogs for the next college football season. Mississippi State finished this past season with a 2-10 record and they are looking to make massive changes to their football program for 2025.
It will be intriguing to see where Jackson Arnold will play next. He was benched at one point this season for Michael Hawkins Jr.

@ Mississippi State fans, would you prefer Arnold over MVB? Personally, I think MVB is the better option. I just don’t think Arnold will ever amount to anything more than a low-mid grade SEC QB. I think MVB has the potential to put up some big #s with experience/+supporting cast.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs need to do something drastic this offseason so they don’t go 2-10 next year and show signs of improvement within the program. Getting Jackson Arnold from the transfer portal would be a nice start. The Bulldogs did not win a game this past season in SEC Conference play.
