In a shocking turn of events in the Michigan Wolverines versus Minnesota Golden Gophers game, college football fans were left stunned.
An offsides call erased an onside kick from the Golden Gophers, which would have given the Golden Gophers the ball with 1:37 left on the clock. Minnesota was not guaranteed a tie or win, but certainly could have scored if the call was not made. The Golden Gophers were in the midst of a massive 21-3 comeback when the offsides call was made.
Despite multiple replays and clear views of the play, the officials still made the offsides call that would effectively end the game. Minnesota had plenty of opportunities to win the game, but instead, the college football referees are the ones who ‘won’ the game according to fans.
Many college football fans went as far as accusing the Michigan Wolverines of cheating once again. This comes on the heels of the NCAA investigations into the Michigan football program and the sign stealing operation.
Minnesota got cheated. Michigan always benefits from cheating. WOW.

May need to check and see if that wasn’t Connor Stallions impersonating a ref.

While many college football fans felt the Michigan team was again up to no good, a large amount of fans felt the opposite about the game. Multiple other calls were missed throughout the game, prompting fans to watch in anger.
Don what are your comments on the Minnesota first half field goal that should have never happened and the hands to the face that gifted them a TD?

College Football Fans Angered During Michigan-Minnesota Clash By Bad Officiating
While the big play was the onside kick, there were a handful of other errors throughout the game that left fans scratching their heads.
The officiating crew throughout the game missed multiple hands to the face calls, which were promptly posted to social media. Along with this, Michigan fans argue that a bad call led to a field for Minnesota and brought the game within range for the Golden Gophers. Regardless of who won, the result of the game is going to continue to be heavily contested by fans.
It is certainly not a good look for the officiating crew especially due to the checked past that Michigan is working to expunge. College football in general has had a tough week officiating wise, with the Miami-Virginia Tech gaming ending in massive controversy due to a Hail Mary play.

So Michigan cheated because the refs called the play? Gimme a break. Bunch of spoiled sports.
