College Football EA Sports Drops Exciting News on 2024 Video Game Release Date
News broke this morning as EA (Electronic Arts) Sports dropped a subtle message within its social media bio about a very anticipated video game.

Looks like EA Sports “NCAA 25” will be reveled in May, but should be expected this summer.
College Football History
The excitement on the internet is climbing. The last time we had an EA Sports NCAA Football Game was back in 2013 for the “NCAA Football 14.”
In the past, early July was when each NCAA video game was released, so one would expect something similar.
Here is an official teaser ESPN posted on Instagram.
Legal Issues
Many issues arose over the years with this video game. “Despite the game’s positive critical and commercial reception, no sequel was produced the following year. Due to legal issues surrounding the game’s use of college player likenesses, NCAA Football 2014 was the last installment of the NCAA Football series. As the most recent entry in the dormant series, the game continues to be played, with unofficial roster updates being released reflecting subsequent seasons.”
Conversations on this topic continued for many years. With the NCAA rules changing for NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deals for athletes within college football, the feeling was that no deal was going to be worked out.
A report in 2023 came out that a deal was reached. “We’re excited to have an agreement in place with OneTeam Partners that will enable us to include the names and likenesses of eligible collegiate football athletes at NCAA Division 1 Football Subdivision schools who opt-in to being featured in EA Sports College Football.” This according to an EA Sports Official Rep.
The Excitement is Palpable
The internet is buzzing with excitement over the news about the release. No specific date has been stated, but “May 2024” can be seen everywhere.
