The college football world is in shock following news over the weekend of one former football player, turned country music star, getting arrested. The singer has been getting noticed in the country music world, however, this could be a reality check.
The Shocking Arrest Of 1 Former College Football Star-Turned Country Music Star Goes Viral

Gavin Adcock, a rising country music star who played college football, has been arrested. The standout country music star, who is on the rise in the industry, was reportedly arrested back on May 21. He was arrested in Tennessee.
The former college football player was reportedly arrested for reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. The Tennessean first reported the news of his arrest this weekend.
This is not the first time that drinking has gotten Adcock, who played college football at Georgia Southern, into some trouble.
Back in 2021, the former college football player was suspended from his team, after a video went viral, showing the country music star standing on a bus and drinking before a game.
Adcock ended up apologizing.
“I want to reach out and express my deepest apology for my foolish actions on the bus this past Saturday,” Adcock said in an apology statement posted online after the incident. “What I did was very selfish and is not what we are about here at Georgia Southern.”
The standout country music star ended up leaving the team a short while later. He said it was a “mutual decision.”
The former college football player is now facing more trouble, as he was arrested in Tennessee earlier this year.
