The Alabama Crimson Tide had a 9-3 record last season and they missed the college football playoffs. Alabama transitioned from Nick Saban as head coach to Kalen DeBoer.
Heading into next season, the Crimson Tide are hoping to make the playoffs this time around. It will be interesting to see how much work Alabama puts in this offseason. They are going to be in the national spotlight once again next season.
Paul Finebaum Has Some Harsh Words For the Alabama Crimson Tide Football Program
ESPN’s Paul Finebaum believes that Kalen DeBoer needs to get the Alabama Crimson Tide to the college football playoffs next season. Finebaum said:
“The perception right now of Alabama football is diminished.”
The Crimson Tide will not be favored to win the SEC next season. The three teams that will be favored ahead of the Crimson Tide next season will be the Texas Longhorns, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Tennessee Volunteers. Those three programs represented the SEC Conference in the playoffs this season.
Alabama will need to make the playoffs next season or there will be a lot of blame going around. The Alabama Crimson Tide will be an under-the-radar team in the SEC Conference next season.

Some fans are not happy with what Finebaum said. It will be interesting to see if the Alabama Crimson Tide will silence their doubters during the 2025 college football season. Alabama will have another talented team this season.
