Cleveland Browns fans haven’t had many victories this year, but Thursday night, they celebrated their third one of the season with a 24-19 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Browns improved their record of 3-8, but they are so far out of the playoff hunt that the team has already started to turn the page to 2025, and there will be many decisions to make.
Cleveland Browns Land A Star Center
It sounds like from many people in the NFL that head coach Kevin Stefanski will keep his job and be back next year, but nobody knows what they will do at quarterback.
Cleveland has to ensure Deshaun Watson never plays a snap for the team again, and they should draft a rookie in the first round. However, there are still six more rounds to acquire talent at other positions to help the team, and the Browns take an Ohio State star to help out the offense.
Justin Melo from the Draft Network published a Cleveland Browns seven-round mock draft and has the team selecting Ohio State center Seth McLaughlin in the sixth round.
Ohio State’s Seth McLaughlin recently suffered an Achilles injury that will drastically alter his pre-draft participation. The aging trio of Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller, and Ethan Pocic across the interior are all scheduled to enter contract years in 2025. Drafting and stashing McLaughlin would give the Browns a future solution.
As Melo stated, McLaughlin tore his Achilles this week, so there is a good chance he will fall in the draft. If he is still there in later rounds, the Browns should jump all over the star center and let him sit next season.
Cleveland needs to find cheap value along the offensive line, and McLaughlin could be a great option, but the center position won’t mean anything if the Browns don’t find a franchise quarterback.
