The Cleveland Browns finally get to play their first game of the 2024 season on Sunday, but the game will be a little different than openers in the past.
The Browns have the biggest game on Sunday, and it’s the Fox game of the week at 4:25, which is like a primetime game.
Former quarterback Tom Brady will be making his broadcasting debut, and the Browns are looking to take down the Cowboys.

Cleveland went 11-6 last year and made the playoffs but fell in the wild-card round; the feeling around the team the past two seasons has been weird since they acquired quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Watson was facing sexual assault allegations at the time the Browns traded for him in 2022, and now, heading into 2024, the Browns finally have a good feeling about them again, and it could be because of what Joe Flacco did last season leading the team when Watson couldn’t.
Now Watson is getting ready to take control of Brown’s offense this season, and Cleveland is looking to get back in the national spotlight.
Cleveland Browns Are Now Off Probation

Garrett Bush from 92.3 the Fan and the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show stated that Brown’s redshirt season is over, they are off probation, and you can officially like the Browns now. You can also come back from the Deshuan Watson cloud.

There has been a dark cloud over the Browns, and the NFL was trying its hardest not to put them in primetime windows the last two seasons because it didn’t want Watson on the national stage. But putting them in one of the biggest games of Week One shows the NFL is ready to let the Browns back in the spotlight.

The Cleveland Browns were a fun story last season when veteran quarterback Joe Flacco came in, threw the ball all over the field, and led them to the playoffs, even though the team had so many injuries.
The NFL had to fall in love with last year’s Cleveland Browns, and they are hoping the love carries over to this season.
