Nobody thought the Cleveland Browns would be sitting with a record of 1-3 after their first four games, but when you can’t move the ball on offense, it is hard to score points and win games.
Cleveland’s offense has been a giant mess at every position group this season, and one of the worst spots is wide receiver.
Starting wide receiver Amari Cooper has no interest in playing for the team, and he has been terrible in every game except for their Week Three loss to the New York Giants.
Cooper has been rumored to be traded since the team is most likely out of the playoff race, and the Kansas City Chiefs have been mentioned as a destination after their injuries at the position.
Another wide receiver that could be moved soon is Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams, and Cleveland has some interest in him.
Cleveland Browns Shouldn’t Trade For Adams

Adams has been one of the better receivers in the NFL for the last seven years, but his game has started to fall off since he will turn 32 years old this winter.
The Raiders are asking for at least a second-round pick for Adams, and if the Browns were to make the deal, they would be giving up a draft pick that they will need in a big-time way this offseason.
Cleveland has one of the oldest rosters in the NFL, and adding another old wide receiver to a team that isn’t going anywhere will be a disaster.
Adams doesn’t want to be in Las Vegas, and the Raiders have won two games this season and just beat the Browns last week, so there is no way Adams will want to be in Cleveland in the first place.

Making the Cleveland Browns roster older and giving up assets that could make the team younger next season is the wrong way to go since the Browns aren’t going to the playoffs this season, and they are going to need to find a way this offseason to get younger at a lot of different positions.
Cleveland hasn’t been able to draft in the first round the last three years, and they didn’t even make a pick in the second round until this past April because they traded out of their second-round pick in 2022 and 2023.
The Browns need to keep their draft picks now since their season is over. There is no saving a team that can’t score points and can’t stop the opposing teams, which are running out quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Gardner Minshew.
