The injury bug has once again bitten the Cleveland Browns and their offensive line. Left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. aggravated his knee injury in his season debut last week and will miss this week. Pro Bowl right guard Wyatt Teller suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain and will miss at least the next four games. Finally, their All-Pro will not make his season debut.
The Clevland Browns All-Pro RT suffered a new injury last week
Jack Conklin was ready to make his season debut last week but popped up on the injury report later in the week because of a hamstring injury. The Browns ruled him out last Saturday. Kevin Stefanski told reporters on Sunday that Conklin’s injury isn’t expected to keep him out for multiple weeks. Since hamstring injuries can linger, Stefanski is playing it safe.
Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said Jack Conklin’s hamstring injury is something he doesn’t think will sideline him multiple weeks but kept him out Sunday.

He will not play
Jack Conklin did not participate in Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s practice. The Cleveland Browns ruled out four offensive players on Friday, including Conklin. He will miss his 21st consecutive game. Not keeping him on the PUP list to start the season turned out to be a head-scratching decision by the Browns front office.

Who starts at RT?
Dawand Jones will continue to start at right tackle. Jones has had a decent start to the season, with seven pressures, four hurries, one hit, two sacks allowed, and three penalties. He also posted a 62.0 pass block, a 65.9 run block, and a 58.6 PFF grade. He will continue to audition as the long-term starting right tackle of the future.
