Injuries continue to plague the Cleveland offensive line, with every ideal starter and a key backup banged up. Dawand Jones and Ethan Pocic are out for the season, while Wyatt Teller, Jack Conklin, and Zak Zinter, who was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday, will all miss the game against the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, Joel Bitonio is questionable after sitting out the first two days of practice and returning Friday in a limited capacity.
Since the Browns already have at least three of the ten offensive linemen on the 53-man roster ruled out, the team needed to add an extra player in case of an emergency.
Cleveland Browns promote former SEC standout

On X, the Browns announced they have signed Garrett Dellinger to the active roster. The former LSU Tigers standout is a versatile offensive lineman, capable of playing multiple positions along the offensive line, starting 26 games at left guard, three at left tackle, and one at center over his four-year college career. Dellinger could start at left guard if Joel Bitonio is unable to play.

Here’s a quick review of his NFL career
The Baltimore Ravens drafted Garrett Dellinger 243rd overall in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent the offseason working out at both left guard and right guard while competing for a roster spot. Unfortunately, the Ravens released Dellinger during roster cuts, and the Cleveland Browns signed him to the practice squad shortly after, where he has spent the first 14 weeks of his rookie season.
