Browns fans can’t seem to catch a break with all the injuries that have happened to the team the past few seasons, and now they are praying that Smith will be okay to start the year.

Cleveland.com Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot was one of the first to report that Smith left practice with an injury, and now she has an update on the star player’s injury.

Cabot stated in a YouTube short that it sounds like Smith has a Knee Contusion and will be re-evaluated in the morning. Cabot also said he shouldn’t miss much time if it’s only a contusion.

Cleveland Browns Seemed To Get Great News

It sucks to see a player have to leave with an injury at training camp, but the good news is it sounds like Smith will be okay and possibly ready to start the season. Hopefully, when his knee gets looked at Tuesday morning, it shows only a contusion, and he takes a few weeks to recover, and he’s ready to start against Dallas in Week One.
