The Cleveland Browns are taking heat via social media after rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. pleaded no contest to a charge that came about as the result of a domestic altercation this summer.
Hall pleaded no contest Thursday, and the decision prompted a wide range of responses from the NFL world.

Hall pleaded no contest Thursday and it resulted in a reduced charge of disorderly conduct. The judge, Alison Manning, dished out a penalty that involved jail time, a fine and monitored time.
Specifically, Hall will have to undergo a suspended 30-day jail sentence, pay $250 and have two years of monitored time. Hall said in an ESPN article how he felt about the situation.
“I regret this whole situation,” Hall said in court, according to Cleveland.com. “I’m getting counseling and trying to better myself.”
The Browns already have public relations issues when it comes to the star players on their team. Quarterback Deshaun Watson became a pariah in the NFL after being the subject of 25 sexual assault allegations.
Watson settled out of court for most of the allegations, but new allegations that surfaced this year brought all the attention back to Watson and the Browns, who gave him a record-breaking contract.
Hall’s case just allows fans from all over the NFL world to double down on the fact that the Browns lack a moral compass when giving players a spot on their team.

You’re right, accountability is key, and it’s good to see Mike Hall Jr. taking responsibility for his actions.

Sounds like a Brown. Are they going to fully guarantee his contract now?
