The Cleveland Browns fanbase is excited after landing former Super Bowl MVP quarterback Joe Flacco Sunday. The Browns worked Flacco out this week after revealing frustrating news that Deshaun Watson was out for the season with a shoulder injury.
The Browns still have a good team, and they improved to 7-3 this week after rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson led the team to a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. P.J. Waler was his backup this week.
The Browns were looking for a veteran’s help. Flacco has plenty of experience. The 38-year-old started in three games for the New York Jets last season. Flacco led the Baltimore Ravens to a win in Super Bowl XLVII.
Cleveland Browns fans react to Flacco’s signing
Flacco isn’t as sexy of a signing as a name like Tom Brady, who was linked to the team a few days ago. But he’s a good signing for the Browns at this point in the season.
Many Browns were happy with getting Flacco. Here are the best takes on X of Browns fans reacting to Flacco’s signing.
I like how they do it.🔥🔥🔥

Big mistake by the #browns not to start Flacco. I just don't get it… DTR was awful. They win this game because the defense. Have fun scoring 10 points a game

@WheelerJaylen After seeing Flacco go to the Browns, I see this as karma for my earlier comments against the Steelers and I formally apologize. https://t.co/6bz99Poi7j
