Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Deshaun Watson has been under a lot of heat this week after his horrible performance against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Sunday’s game was Watson’s first game since coming back from last year’s season-ending shoulder surgery, and Watson wishes he could get that performance back.
Last season, when Watson went out, the Cleveland Browns signed veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, who was sitting on his couch and took the Browns to the playoffs.

Flacco ran Kevin Stefanski’s offense perfectly, finishing with a regular-season record of 4-1 and throwing 13 touchdowns to eight interceptions.
Turnovers were an issue with the veteran quarterback, but he made up for it by throwing touchdowns, and the offense looked perfect under him.
Flacco left this offseason to be Anthony Richardson’s backup with the Indianapolis Colts because the Browns didn’t want him back, and many fans are missing him after seeing how Watson played last week.
Former Cleveland Browns Quarterback Joe Flacco Is The Worst Thing To Happen To Watson

There is a reason why the Browns didn’t want Flacco back this offseason: because they knew fans would be chanting for him after one horrible performance from Watson.
If Flacco was still on the roster, all of Cleveland Browns stadium would’ve chanted his name by halftime on Sunday.
Watson couldn’t handle the fans loving Flacco over him, so he is no longer in Cleveland. To make matters worse, Flacco succeeded in the Cleveland Browns offense, which is something Watson hasn’t been able to do in 13 starts.

Everyone knows that Stefanski is not the issue with the offense after seeing Flacco come in and run it well, so Watson is the problem.
If Flacco had never come in and played so great, fans would probably be giving Watson more time to turn things around. But after what they saw at the end of last year, they know if you have the right quarterback, the offense will be clicking, and that is something the Browns don’t have at the moment.
