The Cleveland Browns offensive tackle position has been decimated by injuries this offseason. Their starting right tackle, Jack Conklin, suffered a torn ACL and MCL in their season-opener last season. He is on the active/PUP list and hasn’t practiced in the first four weeks of training camp. It’s unclear whether he will play in Week 1.
Their swing tackle, Dawand Jones, suffered a season-ending MCL tear in December. He wasn’t ready for spring practice and missed OTAs and mandatory minicamp. However, he recovered from his injury and has been practicing.
The Cleveland Browns starting left tackle suffered a knee injury in November
Jedrick Wills Jr. suffered an MCL injury in Week 9 as the medical staff carted him off the field. The Browns placed Wills on injured reserve the next day. He underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in December and missed the rest of the season.
Wills missed offseason workouts, OTAs, and mandatory minicamp. The Browns placed him on the active/PUP list, and he hasn’t practiced.
Jedrick Wills Jr. isn’t quite ready
According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the Browns will not clear Wills. As a result, he will not practice this week and will miss their preseason finale against the Seahawks on Saturday night. It’s unclear when he will return to the football field.

The Cleveland Browns backup offensive tackles are also banged up
The Browns had three offensive tackles exit their last preseason game with an injury. James Hudson III exited the second quarter with an ankle injury and did not return. He has been ruled out for their last preseason game.
Hakeem Adeniji exited the third quarter with a knee injury and did not return. The Browns placed him on injured reserve. He will miss the rest of the season.
Finally, Germain Ifedi exited the third quarter with a hand injury and did not return. However, the injury isn’t significant, and they hope he plays in their final preseason game.
The Brown must count on Lorenzo Thompson, Chim Okorafor, (Germain Ifedi), and Roy Mbaeteka in their final preseason game.
