The Cleveland Browns 2024 season has started just as 2023 did, with injuries happening to key players, and during the first preseason game for the Browns on Saturday, they lost backup center Luke Wypler, the second-year player out of Ohio State, with a fractured ankle.
Wypler’s return timetable is still unknown, but he will be out for a while. The team also lost another backup center, Brian Allen, two weeks ago for the season with a calf injury.
Cleveland had to make a move to get some protection behind stater Ethan Pocic, and on Sunday, they traded for one of their former players from the Seattle Seahawks.
