The Cleveland Browns started their season off with a horrible game against the Dallas Cowboys, and after the loss, the season seemed over.
Browns starting quarterback Deshaun Watson didn’t play well in Week One, and the offense was nowhere to be found, but a week later, they went down to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars and got a big win.
The SportsBooks Are Disrespecting The Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns offense moved the ball pretty well against the Jaguars, and the defense looked like it did last season, making one big play after another.
Cleveland got a needed victory to improve its season record to 1-1. This week, it hosts the New York Giants, who have lost two straight.
The AFC North has gotten off to a weird start this season. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in first place after the first two weeks with a record of 2-0, and the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are tied for the last win with a record of 0- 2.
Even though the Browns are in second place in the AFC North right now, Fanduel has them at +460 to win the division, which is last. The Steelers, who are currently sitting in first place, are right ahead of them with odds of +280 to win the AFC North.
Even though Baltimore started the season 0-2, they are still +200 to win the division, which is the best odds. The other 0-2 team, the Bengals, are right behind them with the second-best odds at +210.
Most people don’t consider the Cleveland Browns a contender to win the division, even though they have a win on the season. The other two teams that are favorites ahead of them have yet to find themselves in the win column.
Kevin Stefanski should post the odds all over the locker room and show the team that nobody believes in them. Hopefully, the players will respond well and beat their division rivals.
