The Cleveland Browns went all out two years ago and traded for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, giving away three first-round picks a boatload of others and giving him $230 million guaranteed.
Watson has been a total disaster in his three years in Cleveland, and unfortunately, it won’t change. The 29-year-old quarterback’s career is over, and it’s time for the Browns to once again make a change at the position, and this time, they will have to go back into the draft.
Cleveland Browns Take A SEC Star

CBS Sports Ryan Wilson published a new mock draft on Tuesday, which has the Browns choosing fourth overall and selecting Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe.
Wilson had a lot of great things to say about the Alabama quarterback. He stated, “Shedeur Sanders is my QB1 six weeks into the college football season, but — and this is just a hunch — I can’t envision a situation where he green-lights a move to Cleveland, a franchise which seems to find new and exciting ways to redefine dysfunction each and every year. That said, I think Jalen Milroe is better than Anthony Richardson coming out of Florida, and I’m actually intrigued to see how Kevin Stefanski would design an offense around him.”

Milroe has improved his game this season, going from a great athlete to a better passer. Much of that is with his new head coach, Kalen DeBoer, who came over from Washington this offseason and helped turn Michael Penix Jr. into a first-round pick this past April.
Of course, Milroe still has much to improve on in his game, like any young quarterback, but he is on the right track to maybe being the number one overall quarterback in next year’s draft.
Cleveland has to move off of Watson this offseason, and if it drafts a young college player like Milroe or tries to bring in a new veteran, it will be much better than what they are running out every Sunday.
