Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney has been under a lot of heat lately after his team lost to Georgia in Week One 34-3.
Swinney has not been willing to adapt to the new era of college football and has not been a fan of NIL and the transfer portal.
Even though Swinney hasn’t been the same coach we saw five years ago when he took the Tigers to the playoffs and won two titles, he still has his fastball at the microphone, and at his press conference on Tuesday, he had some fun with the media.
Clemson’s Head Coach Dabo Swinney Can Relate To All College Football Fans
This past weekend, Clemson was off on its bye week, which was a great opportunity for Swinney to relax and watch the rest of college football.
Since the 54-year-old head coach is usually busy on Saturdays, he can’t watch college football all day, but this weekend was different, and he got to treat himself to some games.
Swinney stated he got to sit back and watch his YouTube TV, which can watch four games on one screen. He also stated he finally found out how to get the app on his phone to watch games, and it’s like an act of congress to be able to log into all these things.
Dabo Swinney enjoyed YouTube TV’s quad box feature Saturday during Clemson’s bye week:

Swinney might be getting a lot of things wrong these days with his college football takes, but his comments about how you need an act of Congress and a bunch of codes to log into anything these days are spot on.
Football fans just want to watch the games and not have to worry about all this subscription stuff. If you want to watch the NFL, you have to subscribe to Amazon for Thursday Night Football and Peacock to watch some NFL playoff games.
It’s ridiculous how crazy it’s gotten to be able to watch football, and can we just go back to the times when the games were all on one platform, and you didn’t need 90 different apps to watch every game?
Clemson will take on NC State this weekend at noon, so maybe after the game ends, Swinney can hop on his YouTube TV app and watch the rest of the games on Saturday evening.
