The Georgia Bulldogs are 9-2 this season and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are 7-4. This rivalry will be renewed on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Bulldogs will be the home team in this rivalry matchup.

This game will not affect the outcome of the SEC Conference for Georgia. They will be playing the winner of the Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies in the SEC Championship Game next weekend.

This will be the first time this season that the Georgia Bulldogs are playing on a Friday night. They are looking to avoid the upset at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Won Last 6 Meetings

Georgia has won the last six meetings against Georgia Tech. Last season, the Georgia Bulldogs won against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 31-23. The last time that the Yellow Jackets defeated the Bulldogs was back in 2016 when they won the game 28-27.
It is very rare for these games to be blowouts between Georgia and Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs are better than the Yellow Jackets, but this will probably be another close game this weekend.
