Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia, recently shared a heartbreaking post on her Instagram that her family lost a member of their family during the Texas floods. The young nine-year-old family member was attending a Christian summer camp at Camp Mystic which was eventually flooded when the river Guadalupe swelled because of the rain.
Tavia not only shared the alarming news about the loss of their young family member, but also shared a Bible verse which shows that she believes in God’s sovereign nature and that light will shine in spite of darkness.
“Our hearts are broken by the devastation from the floods in Wimberley and the tragic loss of so many lives — including a precious little Hunt cousin, along with several friends’ little girls,” Tavia Hunt shared on her Instagram.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. – John 1:5” Tavia Hunt shared this Bible verse in a graphic.

Clark Hunt, who has been married to Tavia Hunt since 1993, has a pretty well-knit family. Their extended family share more than just blood and are devout Christians. The Chiefs family also mourns the loss of Clark and Tavia Hunt.

The floods in Texas were basically caused when the region received a month’s worth of rainfall in a span of 24 hours. According to recent reports, more than 100 people have died as a result of the floods with thousands losing their homes and their properties.
Clark Hunt’s Quarterback Reveals What Went Wrong In 2024 Season
On another note, Clark Hunt’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, will be entering the 2025 NFL season with renewed focus, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes steering their offense. In his latest appearance on ‘Up & Adams’, Mahomes revealed what exactly went wrong with the team in the previous season and what they hope to do in the upcoming one.

According to the three-time Super Bowl winner, Mahomes mentioned that the players were pursuing the Lombardi trophy because they felt that they were supposed to do so. Mahomes remarked that his Chiefs teammates did not want to win for the “fun of the game” and this was the reason as to why they could not perform.

The quarterback also stated that he hopes to prove others wrong with his actions and not necessarily his words. Patrick Mahomes also announced that he and the rest of the Chiefs “work harder than anyone in the NFL” and is confident of adding another ring to his collection.
