The Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2) will be without a former first-round pick when the team plays the Baltimore Ravens (7-3) on Sunday. The Steelers are hosting the Ravens at Acrisure Stadium in a matchup that will determine who takes first place in the race for the AFC North.
The Ravens announced Saturday they’d be without a veteran safety, as Eddie Jackson was ruled out for Sunday’s game for a reason that has nothing to do with injury, essentially embarrassing the former All-Pro.
Pittsburgh Steelers place C.J. Henderson on IR
On Saturday the Steelers revealed cornerback C.J. Henderson would be placed on injured reserve due to a neck injury. He will miss the next four games.
“Henderson was dealing with a neck injury during practice this week, missing practice on Thursday and Friday and was already ruled out for the game,” wrote Teresa Varley on the Steelers website. “Henderson was signed to the 53-man roster on Oct. 22 from the practice squad. He was inactive for the Giants and Commanders games.”
