The Cincinnati Bengals’ superstar pass rusher, Trey Hendrickson, has been dissatisfied with his current contract for over a year and even requested a trade during the last offseason. Hendrickson opted against holding out during training camp or the 2024 season despite not agreeing to a contract or a resolution. He followed up by leading the NFL in sacks with 17.5 and being named to his fourth Pro Bowl and first First-Team All-Pro selection.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ superstar demanded a trade in March

On March 6, Trey Hendrickson demanded and was granted permission to seek a trade because he wants to be one of the highest-paid EDGE rushers in the league and is actively seeking over $30 million per year. Hendrickson enters the final year of his contract and is scheduled to earn a $15.8 million base salary along with an $18.666 million cap hit in 2025. He is currently the 11th-highest-paid EDGE rusher and has the 11th-highest cap hit in 2025.
It’s been over two months since the superstar requested a trade.
He rips the front office in a blistering update

In a statement to ESPN on Monday, Trey Hendrickson ripped the front office for their lack of communication and their contract offer. Hendrickson added that his camp and the front office have had no communication since the end of the 2025 NFL Draft. The superstar was offered a contract that did not meet his demands and accused them of not fulfilling their promise to give him a lucrative contract if he continued to play at a high level.
