The Cincinnati Bengals land an OT in free agency
The Cincinnati Bengals could have used one piece on the offense to get them past the Kansas City Chiefs and into the Super Bowl. That would have been at the offensive tackle position. The Bengals made sure to address that position in free agency. They made a move the same day they parted ways with tight end Hayden Hurst.
According to Mike Garafolo with the NFL Network, the Bengals will sign Orlando Brown Jr. to a four-year deal worth $64 million. $31 million will be as a signing bonus. He will be the Bengals starting left tackle in 2023.

Brown was considered to be the top prize at offensive tackle in free agency by most analysts. Brown played a phenomenal postseason for the Chiefs at left tackle. He kept NFL MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes free from being sacked in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles, the best pass-rushing team in the league last season.
