Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht continues to stack impressive offseasons atop of one another, with the latest move being a two-year commitment to star wide receiver Chris Godwin Monday, during the NFL’s negotiating period.
Godwin, 29, returns to the Buccaneers and quarterback Baker Mayfield’s supporting cast, on a deal that is a major win for both sides.
Chris Godwin Contract Details Revealed in Latest Deal with Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s easy to see what makes Godwin so valuable to the Buccaneers’ passing game, and Mayfield’s arsenal.
Last season, Mayfield had an elite 127.5 passer rating when targeting the former Penn State standout and second-round pick of the Buccaneers.
Godwin’s contract is a two-year pact worth $66 million, and includes two years fully guaranteed.
Keeping Godwin in place, maintains continuity in a potentially explosive wide receiver trio of Mike Evans, Godwin, and emerging star Jalen McMillan.
