The Kansas City Chiefs are going through one of the most tumultuous off-seasons they’ve had in recent years. Not only were they embarrassed in Super Bowl 59, but they’ve had a plethora of off-field issues this off-season. Between Taylor Swift, arrests, and now lawsuits, Kansas City has a lot of distractions.
Now there’s another massive lawsuit on their hands.
Chiefs: Star Player Files Massive Lawsuit Against Ex (Report)

In the wake of shocking domestic abuse allegations made by his former fiancée, Tia Jones, Xavier Worthy finds himself embroiled in a complicated legal battle:
The explosive accusations would lead to his arrest and subsequent release as the local district attorney said he wouldn’t pursue the case.
Now Worthy is throwing out his own allegations.
Xavier Worthy is suing Jones and claiming she abused him and fabricated claims of domestic violence in an effort to “extort a home, money, cars, and other valuables” from him.
TMZ reported he filed the lawsuit in Texas on Monday.
The publication states Worthy says Jones became violent and “extortive” after he found out she was cheating on him.
Awful: Xavier Worthy claims Tia Jones destroyed his gaming room, ripped huge chunks of his hair from his head, and stole or destroyed over $150,000 worth of [his] personal property and cash.
Worthy is suing for over $250,000 in damages.

He repeatedly asked her to leave their home and even offered to get her an apartment to allow her time to get “back on her feet.”
Worthy says she refused and “became enraged and engaged in a series of abusive, extortive efforts.”
Xavier Worthy then claimed Jones destroyed his game room earlier this month as he showed pictures of a broken desk and a PlayStation 5. Soon, he alleges she scratched his face and ripped huge chunks of his hair from his head.
The 21-year-old wide receiver says Jones would fabricate an abuse story in a petition to get a protective order.
Worthy recently completed his rookie season with the Chiefs, where he caught 59 targets for 638 receiving yards and a team-high six receiving touchdowns in his first year.

Here is a look at Worthy’s 2024 stats:
