The Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals are meeting in the AFC Championship Game for the second straight season.
A year ago, the Bengals topped the Chiefs and went on to the Super Bowl only to lose to the Los Angeles Rams. This year, Patrick Mahomes is injured (but will play), and the Bengals are a popular pick to win another AFC title and return to the Super Bowl.
There are plenty of weapons for both teams on both sides of the ball, although the Bengals’ young flurry of stars such as Joe Burrow, JaMarr Chase, tee Higgins, and Joe Mixon might give them the upper hand.
However, Chiefs LB Willie Gay disagrees and might have just given Cincinnati perfect bulletin board material:
Not many words from #Chiefs LB Willie Gay today but one thing stood out.
“What impresses you about that Bengals offense?”
“Nothing.” pic.twitter.com/lp6KQ2HeAG

“Nothing.”
That was a quick answer for Gay, and the chiefs must have extra motivation after seeing their season end at the hands of the Bengals a year ago.
Bengals star WR JaMarr Chase responded to Gay’s comment. Well, kind of.
"I ain't got no response for him."

In last year’s AFC title game, Burrow threw for 250 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Cincinnati’s 27-24 overtime win at Arrowhead.
The Bengals came back from a deficit and scored 14 points in the second half, including the game-winning field goal from Evan McPherson.

During the regular season, the Bengals offense finished in the top 10 in the following categories: Points per game, yards per game, passing yards, and third-down efficiency. But nothing impresses Gay about the Bengals offense.
Sunday evening, we will have our AFC champion. Will it be the Bengals for the second year in a row? Or will Mahomes and the Chiefs go back to the Super Bowl?
