“That’s Crazy”: Chiefs and Ravens Stars Lose It Over Jameis Winston’s Wild 33-Yard TD Catch (Video)

Jameis Winston pulled off one of the wildest plays of the 2025 season on Sunday afternoon in Detroit. The New York Giants quarterback didn’t just throw touchdowns against the Lions. He caught one too in a spectacular trick play that left NFL players around the league absolutely stunned.

Inside the NFL’s Mic’d Up for Week 12 captured priceless reactions from Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens stars watching the play unfold on their own sidelines.

Lamar Jackson, Charles Omenihu, Zay Flowers React to Jameis Winston’s 33-Yd TD

Winston faked a handoff up the middle and then pitched the ball off to wide receiver Gunner Olszewski before taking up the left side of the field, seemingly unnoticed. Winston, after waving his hand in the air frantically to get Olszewski’s attention, caught the pass and then shook off linebacker Derrick Barnes before walking into the end zone.

The 33-yard touchdown gave New York a 27-17 lead in the fourth quarter. The play was the only touchdown catch by a Giants quarterback since at least 1950. Winston became just the second player this season to have a touchdown pass and a touchdown catch in the same game after Bears quarterback Caleb Williams did it in Week Three.

Kansas City Chiefs star Charles Omenihu had his jaw dropped, and Leo Chenal was amused by it while watching on their sideline. The Chiefs were hosting the Indianapolis Colts during their early afternoon game at Arrowhead Stadium. Neither defender could believe what they saw on the video board.

The footage then cuts to the Baltimore Ravens bench during their game against the New York Jets. All Lamar Jackson could muster after seeing the play was “That’s crazy”. The reigning MVP quarterback looked genuinely shocked by Winston’s athleticism and awareness on the trick play.

Ravens receiver Zay Flowers then added, “That boy [Winston] about to beat them” after watching the touchdown. Flowers clearly thought the Giants had seized control of the game with that momentum changing score. His prediction almost came true before Detroit’s incredible comeback.

Winston made an athletic catch on a pass from wide receiver Gunner Olszewski, juked out Derrick Barnes, and then scored one of the best and most unlikely touchdowns NFL fans will ever see. His ability to shed the defender made the play even more impressive than typical quarterback trick plays.

Winston finished with 18 completions on 36 attempts for 366 passing yards. He threw two touchdowns and one interception while adding 13 rushing yards. His first touchdown of the day came on New York’s opening drive when he found Wan’Dale Robinson for a 39-yard score on another trick play.
