The Kansas City Chiefs have experienced a remarkable amount of success ever since Patrick Mahomes took over as starting quarterback in 2018.  The team has never won less than 10 regular season games with Mahomes under center, and of course, they’ve won three Super Bowl championships.

However, on Monday Mahomes made a big time personal announcement prior to the 2025 NFL Season.

As a second favorite sport to him, the 29-year-old has also taken time to hit the golf course occasionally. So much so that he had an exciting announcement:

Mahomes’ passion for golfing has inspired an exciting announcement made on Monday, courtesy of sports apparel giants Adidas.

“Time to hit some Fairways ⏰🏌️‍♂️Introducing the @patrickmahomes 2 “Fairway” colorway, inspired by Patrick’s love for golf ⛳️” Adidas posted on Instagram.

Mahomes shared the news via his Instagram stories by reposting the photos of the latest colorway of his signature shoe as well as the above announcement from Adidas.

It appears that the three-time Super Bowl-winning QB is also excited to train with his new pair of kicks.

This big reveal has stirred a lot of excitement among the fans as well.

“I will be wearing these until they pull them off my body,” a comment on Instagram read.

    “NEED,” said another.

“Oh my goodness🔥” reacted a user.

“man these are so tuff,” wrote a fan.

    “That’s fire 🔥” another posted.

According to Adidas’ website, the Mahomes 2 Impact FLX “Fairway” Training Shoes retail at $150. It is the newest colorway of the pair, which also comes in five other variants.

Per the website, the Mahomes 2 is designed “for pushing yourself further on the practice field” and to help users “train like an MVP.”
