There is a plea for help from Patrick Mahomes’ mother:

Mahomes’ family is facing a heartbreaking situation that has brought the football community together in support and prayer.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s mother, Randi Mahomes, recently turned to social media with an urgent plea for help regarding a young family member.

On Monday, she posted an emotional message on Instagram asking followers to join her in praying for a special little boy who has captured hearts across Chiefs Kingdom.

“Please join me in continuing to pray for my cousin’s grandson,” Randi wrote in her Instagram story.

“Sweet Luka is still fighting Stage L2 intermediate neuroblastoma. He is undergoing chemo and fighting hard. Please pray for this sweet family as they are going through one of the hardest trials of their lives.”

    Randi Mahomes re

This news comes on the heels of Patrick Mahomes’ mother losing both her parents in the span of a few months.

Randi Mahomes has also added a link for Luka’s GoFundMe page, urging her fans to donate to the little boy.

It was just last year when Randi lost her mother after a tough battle against cancer. Unfortunately, just a few months after Randi Mahomes’ mother passed away, her father, Randy Mahomes, also started to deal with a few health issues.

Unfortunately, Patrick Mahomes’ maternal grandfather lost his battle and passed away a few months ago, just a few days after Mahomes suffered the Super Bowl loss against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Patrick Mahomes is entering the 2025 NFL season with a focus on rebounding from a season in which he and the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl but were blown out.

It wouldn’t truly feel like the NFL season if we weren’t debating who the best QBs in the league are.

Mahomes might be the cream of the crop as he has displayed throughout his career.

The two-time MVP and three-time Super Bowl champ is intent on making Kansas City’s offense scary good again, and no one would dare count them out.
