The Kansas City Chiefs started their title defense off with a bang by taking down the Baltimore Ravens at home. In a hard fought 27-20 win, Kansas City showed they are still the team to beat in the AFC. Week two will feature Kansas City welcoming the Cincinnati Bengals to Arrowhead Stadium.
These two teams have had a number of memorable games in recent memory, however, 2024 might be a little tougher for Patrick Mahomes.
Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes Gets Extremely Troubling News Ahead Of Week 2 Vs. Bengals
According to Kansas City’s official website:
Hollywood Brown did not participate in practice today.
Player Position Injury Wed. Thurs. Fri. Game Hollywood Brown WR Shoulder DNP DNP Nick Bolton LB Elbow FP FP Mike Danna DE Quad FP FP Nazeeh Johnson CB Hamstring FP FP Derrick Nnadi DT Triceps FP FP Mike Pennel DT Groin FP FP
It looks like Hollywood Brown’s Chiefs debut will likely be at least another week away.
Because of a shoulder injury he suffered in the first preseason game, Brown did not play in the season opener. It’s unlikely Brown will be able to play this weekend, even if he gets on the field Friday. He’s still out on Thursday, and the length of his absence makes it unlikely.
With Brown out, the Chiefs will have Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Justin Watson, Skyy Moore, Mecole Hardman, and JuJu Smith-Schuster as receiver options.
