The Chicago Bears were featured in the first edition of Hard Knocks on Tuesday night in training camp. Undrafted offensive lineman Theo Benedet was a rockstar during the first episode of Hard Knocks on Tuesday. He is from the country of Canada and went to the University of British Columbia.
He is 6’7″ and weighs 305 lbs. Benedet is a two-time J.P. Metras Award winner. It is the Candian version of the best offensive lineman of the year in college football. It will be interesting to see if he can make the 53-man roster for the Chicago Bears or not this season.
During the episode on Tuesday, he was dressed in an Eagle Speedo and he sang the song: “God Bless the U.S.A.” It was a perfect time for him to sing that song because America faces the most important election in its lifetime in 2024. A lot of players in the locker room were enjoying themselves when he was singing that song in front of the entire football team.
Chicago Bears Fans React To Theo Benedet On Twitter
There was a lot of reaction to what Theo Benedet did during the first episode of Hard Knocks. A lot of people thought it was hilarious what he did. This is what some people said about the Chicago Bears rookie offensive lineman on Twitter:
If Theo benedet doesn’t make the bears roster. #Vikings need to claim him immediately #HardKnocks

Theo Benedet is the real hero. Him & Caleb should switch signing bonuses after their respective rookie talent show performances.

There were great reactions throughout this video of him. It will be interesting to see what else happens in the future episodes. Also, Theo Benedet hurt himself on an extra-point attempt and he will be sidelined for the next 4-5 weeks with a groin strain. It could hurt his chances to make the 53-man roster for the Chicago Bears.
He is buried on the Bears offensive line depth chart. On the ESPN list, he is listed as a fourth-string offensive lineman. Chicago will need better offensive line play this season if they want to succeed. The Chicago Bears missed the playoffs a season ago. This Benedet story is a good start to training camp, but they are going to need bigger things happening than this if they want to go places in the 2024 season.
