The Chicago Bears recently celebrated the LGBTQIA+ community by hosting Pride Bowl 2025 over the weekend. The annual event, which was presented by the Chicago Metropolitan Sports Association, has been conducted year after year in an effort to help those of the LGBTQIA+ community connect with each other and also find allies to support them.
This year’s Pride Bowl had more than 50 teams participate in flag football games over the weekend and was held at the Chicago lakefront. The event’s registration has been open since April this year with different teams across various genders signing up to play. The Pride Bowl also had 24 women’s teams and had a total participation count of 800.
“Proud to celebrate Pride!” the Chicago Bears official X account wrote in their post while sharing four pictures from the event.

The Chicago Bears seem to be making full use of their offseason as training camps have ended and the players await the regular season to kick off. The Bears will be eager to improve their record from the previous season, which pretty much ended in a failure. Chicago will face the Minnesota Vikings in their first game of the 2025 NFL season in Week 1.

The Bears have also made several major changes to their roster during their offseason, including wise draft picks to ensure long-term investments for the franchise. In this upcoming NFL season, starting quarterback Caleb Williams will be playing his sophomore season with the Chicago Bears.

Chicago Bears QB, Caleb Williams, Eager To Play With Luther Burden III
The Chicago Bears are raging to go and put up better records for themselves in the upcoming NFL season. Most particularly, Chicago’s starting quarterback, Caleb Williams, seems to be eager to make plays with newly drafted wide receiver, Luther Burden III. Burden was bagged by the Bears in the second round of the draft and managed 61 receptions with six touchdowns for the Missouri Tigers in his senior year with the team.

Burden recently shared a post on Instagram, where one of the pictures depicted NBA legend Allen Iverson. Burden hinted at bringing some of Iverson’s essence into the NFL during his time with the Chicago Bears. Caleb Williams simply responded to Burden’s post with a short ‘Lu!!’ It seems like both Burden and Williams have hit it off as teammates as well as friends. If that is so, Chicago fans can expect plenty of tricks from these two talented players.
