Along with Caleb Williams, they also traded for wide receiver Keenan Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers, and they also drafted wide receiver Rome Odunze with the ninth overall pick in the 2024 pick from Washington. Chicago will be in a very tough NFC North division this season.

Nick Wright of First Things First spoke about Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears on Tuesday. He made a bold prediction about the Bears for the upcoming 2024 season. Wright said:
“I am picking the Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams to win the NFC, and to be a rookie QB representative in the Super Bowl.”
This is a very bold prediction. The Chicago Bears may not even be in the top two in their own division. The Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions will be better than Chicago this season. All of them could make the playoffs in the NFC, but the Bears are not ready to be a serious contender yet. Wright also added:
“At some point a rookie QB is going to get to the Super Bowl. If it’s going to happen, it would look a lot like this.”
This is a very bold prediction for Nick Wright. His takes are unusually preposterous. Williams is unproven in the NFL and Jordan Love and Jared Goff are better quarterbacks within the division at the moment. Everyone is hyping him up without playing a down in the NFL.
What if he has a horrendous rookie season? What if Caleb Williams gets hurt? Those are some questions that Nick Wright has to answer. The Bears is also not better than teams like the San Francisco 49ers or the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC at the moment. The Chicago Bears have not been to the Super Bowl since the 2006 season when they lost to the Indianapolis Colts. Chicago has not won it all since the 1985 season.
