Simone Biles’ 2-Word Reaction To Chicago Bears’ Week 1 Win

The Chicago Bears have made heads turn toward their direction by getting the Week 1 win against the Tennessee Titans. For her part, Olympian Simone Biles dropped a short two-word reaction about the game itself.

In a surprising turn of events, the Chicago Bears secured a 24-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans in their season opener, despite a lackluster offensive performance. Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams had a challenging debut, completing only 14 of 29 passes for just 92 yards and suffering two sacks. However, the Bears’ defense and special teams stepped up, contributing crucial touchdowns that ultimately sealed the win.

Tyrique Stevenson made a significant impact by returning an interception for a touchdown, while Jonathan Owens scored on a special teams play, showcasing the Bears’ resilience. The team managed to win while gaining a mere 148 yards of total offense, a rarity in their history. This win marks only the second time since 1971 that the Bears have triumphed with fewer than 150 offensive yards, the previous instance occurring in 2006 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Williams, despite his struggles, became the fourth quarterback selected first overall to win in Week 1 of his rookie season, joining notable names like Jim Plunkett and John Elway. The Bears overcame an early 17-0 deficit, demonstrating their fighting spirit and proving that a strong defense can compensate for offensive shortcomings.

After the game, various personalities reacted to Chicago’s Week 1 win, including Biles. As seen in her post on Threads, the Olympian dropped a short reaction to the Bears’ dub.

“BEAR DOWN,” Biles posted on Threads.

Biles also praised Owens for his pivotal role in the game by saying she almost had a heart attack during a key play in the game. In turn, the Bears safety also reacted to his wife’s post on social media about their recent Week 1 win against the Titans.

Looking ahead, the Bears will face the Houston Texans in Week 2, as they aim to build on this unexpected success.  Without doubt, Biles will be there to support her husband and the whole team as the season progresses.
