Like a lot of big stars in the offseason, wide receiver DJ Moore signed a massive extension to stay with the Chicago Bears for four more years. In turn, he expressed his true thoughts on inking the new contract and what it truly means for him.
The Bears have made a significant investment in their offensive arsenal, locking up Moore on a four-year, $110 million contract extension. This deal, which includes $70 million in guaranteed money, solidifies the wide receiver’s place as one of the league’s premier pass-catching threats.

At just 26 years old, Moore has already established himself as a dominant force, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2021 and 2022. His combination of speed, route-running prowess, and reliable hands have made him a consistent threat for opposing defenses. By retaining Moore’s services, the Bears ensure they have a true game-changing weapon to pair with quarterback Justin Fields, as they aim to build a potent offense capable of competing in the NFC North.
This deal not only reflects Moore’s talent and value, but also the Bears’ commitment to building a championship-caliber team. With this historic contract, Moore joins the upper echelon of wide receivers in the NFL, setting a new benchmark for the position and further cementing his status as one of the league’s elite playmakers.
Wide Receiver DJ Moore Reveals True Thoughts on Signing $110 Million Contract with Chicago Bears

Just recently Moore appeared on an episode of Green Light with Chris Long. Among the topics he talked about was his new contract extension from the Bears, which can be seen in a video posted by the podcast’s account on YouTube.
“When I put the ink to that paper, it just felt amazing. I’d seen the numbers. I was like, dang, all the hard work is paying off and getting to just do it was amazing,” Moore said.
Moore mentioned rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, who is under contract through 2027, as a key factor in his decision. The Bears have built a strong supporting cast around Williams, locking up key offensive pieces like Moore, rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze, and tight end Cole Kmet to provide long-term stability.

It remains to be seen whether Chicago will reap the fruits of its efforts by signing Moore. In any case, a lot of Bears fans will be looking out for the wide receiver to see if he lives up to his contract.
