The Chicago Bears finished the regular season with a 5-12 record. Chicago decided to fire Matt Eberflus as head coach during the 2024 season. Eberflus was hired as head coach before the 2022 season after they fired Matt Nagy as head coach.
The Bears are looking for a new head coach in 2025 to potentially unlock quarterback Caleb Williams. Chicago’s general manager Ryan Poles is leading the search for the next head coach for the Bears. One potential candidate for this opening is former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.
Chicago Bears Interviewed Mike Vrabel For Head Coach On Wednesday
On Wednesday, the Bears Twitter page announced that they completed an interview with Mike Vrabel for their head coach opening. Vrabel was on the Cleveland Browns coaching staff this season after he was fired from the Tennessee Titans job after the 2023 season.
Vrabel was the head coach of the Titans from 2018 to 2023 and he had a 54-45 record with Tennessee. The Titans fired him prematurely. In 2021, Tennessee was the number one seed in the AFC and he was also the Coach of the Year in the NFL.
He was in the playoffs a few times with the Tennessee Titans. What the Chicago Bears are missing is someone who is a true leader of men.

Hire this man. It’s not a hard choice to make.

Then enter contract talks and sign him. He’s the best option you have. He will restore your franchise with winning football and the Leadership he provides will make your franchise appealing to free agents.

Can I ask a question? You have a winning coach in Pete Carroll that wants to coach the team. Why have you not interviewed him?
Also you screwed up firing Lovie Smith all those years ago.

Almost 30% of Chicago’s population is African American. They need to prioritize diversity in this hiring process.

It will be interesting to see if Mike Vrabel is one of the finalists for the Chicago Bears head coaching job or not. If they don’t hire him, Ben Johnson, or Pete Carroll, it would be a mistake for this franchise moving forward once again also.
