Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders already boasts one of the top transfer portal classes in the nation. He isn’t done adding to it. The program was able to flip former Arizona State edge rusher BJ Green from the Washington Huskies.

Green had committed to the Huskies but decided to reconsider after Kalen DeBoer left for Alabama. Deion Sanders and his staff were happy to swoop in and nab one of the top players in the portal. During his time with the Sun Devils, he racked up 60 tackles (21 for loss), 13.5 sacks, and a forced fumble in 36 games. On3 had him ranked as a top 25 player in the transfer portal class. He is a huge addition to an already good defense. While the offense sputtered at times, the defense often kept the team in games.
Pressure In 2024
Sanders has not been shy about the expectations for the program. He expects this team to be competing in the College Football Playoff. The good news for the Buffaloes is the playoff expands to 12 teams, making it easier to get in. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are back for another year, and both could be in the Heisman conversation. The totally remade roster will hopefully be an improvement over last year.
The Colorado Buffaloes are going to be a fun team to watch in 2024. If they are able to make it to the College Football Playoff, it will set the college football world on fire.
