“Carson Beck Will Be Replaced”: College Football Analyst Makes Bold Prediction About Miami Hurricanes Carson Beck Potentially Getting Benched

The Miami Hurricanes are the 10th ranked team in the country as the 2025 college football season begins. Miami will have postseason expectations this season.

The Hurricanes were a team on the bubble last season. Entering the 2025 season, quarterback Carson Beck will be the starter after he transferred from the Georgia Bulldogs. Cam Ward was the starting quarterback a season ago and he was the number one pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL Draft. There is a chance that the Hurricanes may not get the same production at the quarterback position like they did a season ago.

College Football Analyst Makes Bold Prediction About Miami Hurricanes Quarterback Carson Beck

Miami will have expectations to compete for an ACC title this season and potentially dethrone the Clemson Tigers. Well, some people think that Beck could potentially be holding this football team back in 2025. Christopher Kamrani of the Athletic made a bold prediction about this football program entering the 2025 college football season and said,

“Carson Beck will be replaced as Miami’s QB by late October.”

That would be very interesting if the Hurricanes made a quarterback change. If that were to happen, the downfall of Beck would need to be studied. During the 2024 season with Georgia, he completed 64.7% of his passes for 3,485 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. However, despite that completion percentage, there were games that Beck looked awful in last season for Georgia.

There is a chance that could carry over in Miami during the 2025 season. If it does transpire, the projected backup quarterback for the Hurricanes is redshirt sophomore Emory Williams. It remains to be seen if Beck can be successful in the ACC Conference or not. The #10 ranked Hurricanes will be tested out of the gates against the #6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
