The 1-7 Carolina Panthers host the 2-6 New Orleans Saints at Bank of America Stadium for their ninth regular season game and a rematch from their season opener. The Panthers hope their second game against the Saints will have a different outcome than their season opener. The Saints blew out the Panthers 10-47, and Bryce Young and the offensive couldn’t get it together.

Due to the Panthers trading Diontae Johnson and not having Adam Thielen in the starting rotation, the receiving corps will look different for today’s rematch. It’s unclear if their new number-one receiver is 100% since he popped up on the injury report later in the week.
The Carolina Panthers promising rookie is dealing with a toe injury

After not appearing on the injury report on Wednesday’s practice, Xavier Legette surprisingly popped up on Thursday’s injury report with a toe injury. Legette participated in their final two days of practice in a limited fashion. When the Panthers released their final injury report of the week on Friday, they listed him as questionable.
Will he play today?

The expectation is for Xavier Legette to play heading into Sunday. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Legette is officially active. Having their promising receiver in the starting rotation is good news for Bryce Young and the young and inexperienced receiving corps.
Officially active: Drake Maye, Tony Pollard, Xavier Legette, Trevon Diggs, Zack Martin, Joey Bosa, Marlon Humphrey, Denzel Ward
Officially inactive: Tee Higgins, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, DJ Chark, Will Levis, Brian Robinson Jr.
